NUS Unseen Normal

Many have struggled during the COVID-19 lockdown. Many suffered from racism critics, some from financial difficulties.

NUS Unseen Normal campaign portrays how two students from the same school can experience such different realities. The video campaign is a reminder that long after the initial surge in care and support during the circuit breaker, people who had suffered financially then might still be struggling today, and little gestures of kindness and understanding go a long way.

Impact

NUS Giving wanted to create a video that would showcase a slice of life of 2 students, living in contrasting financial backgrounds, as a way to illustrate how they live with the post-circuit breaker period and move forward.

This video was part of a larger campaign that involved webinars and panel discussions, and it certainly sparked interest and attention from students and public alike.
