Yellow Ribbon Project
The Yellow Ribbon Project seeks to engage the community in giving ex-offenders a second chance at life and to inspire a ripple effect of concerted community action to support ex-offenders and their families.
As a charity and cause-based organisation, they seek to shape perception about ex-offenders and provide practical support to improve the reintegration of former prison inmates.
We were given the opportunity to work on their social media content to boost engagement and increase awareness of the meaningful work they do – and inspire the public to show practical support or even join the organisation as volunteers and full-time staff as part of their care network.
Here are just some of the works we’ve done with them:
A Day in life of a Career Coach
Ever wondered who helps ex-offenders to get back into the workforce? Yellow Ribbon has a growing team of career coaches that helps guide ex-offenders through this journey, from job application to thriving in their new careers.
John is an ex-offender turned restorative justice trainer. He has personally benefited from the programme while serving his time and now he gives back by helping inmates in their rehabilitative journey.
